Nope, I was referring to the Electra kit, that was downloadable. Finally found it.

But sadly isn't a downloadable paper model or something like that.

Ken

Maybe with so few time one option is to modify this one to be a more "complete" model:

Lockheed Vega *** Flying Paper Cardstock Glider

Regards
Luis

@Alcedes, That's a really nice kit for a 1st time model for a child or someone just getting into paper modeling. Good find!!

@Texman, I didn't have that one either. Good find!!

There's also a plastic "quick build" kit of the Electra from NewRay. It can be built in about 5 minutes and even has retractable landing gear. It's in the colors of Northwest Airlines, but since that's a basic silver paint job, you could easily repaint it to represent Earhart's plane, since it basically just had it's registry numbers and an orange wing stripe. You might be able to find this on Ebay and get it in time.

PM me if you want more info.

Wyvern

That brings back memories! IIRC, I had one night to construct a complete model of a solar system inside a cardboard box. Wadded up typing paper makes a great asteroid!

A wole week to create a multi-engine airplane from scratch + piece of cake. :-)

Does this stop when they go to college? Definitely, then you only have to send more money!

Bob Bendorf's Lockheed Electra 10A Model 1:120 Scale

Hi Ken,

If you Google 'Bob Bendorf paper models' you'll get the search result at the very top - just click to the 2nd page, and there it is!

It's a small but beautiful model - completely free for download! Good luck!

Best,
Bengt in Stockholm
