Paper Rewolver

I just draw a revolver on paper cut it out and assemble it - not sure what the outcome would be so I did not save the work step by step.
I will try and build another one and going to try and put some moving parts in it like the hammer must retract and the trigger must operate the hammer and if possible turn the turning the cylinder to the next chamber

simplest way to do that is look at mechanisms from single action colts, use either very weak actual springs or rubber bands to act on the hammer and trigger retract, harden your action parts with cyanoacrylate glue and have fun. the glue is the key in card making card models have moving parts. plain card is too soft or will wear out in a couple of trigger pulls.

You could also try to mimic an existing revolver, doesn't have to be super accurate but at least it would resemble something already made.

Colt, S&W or Ruger are the most popular modern revolvers today, you could take a look at those.

The old single action cap and ball colts have a large v spring in the grip (for the hammer) and a small leaf spring in the hand (that pushes the cylinder).

I think I remember seeing a model of one of the old colts, but I can't remember from where.
