Need built models of any ecardmodels models :) compensation and postage paid....
 

I am going to be trying something new and signing up for our company craft fair (noted elsewhere)

I am looking for people to build any models from my site and mail them to me. I will pay postage. Compensation will be in the form of triple value of the kit in store credit and if the model sells you will get 100% of sale in cash back. I will likely sell all models in a bidding system somehow. Every model that I get I will print up a minimum of 10 copies and sell them at the craft fair. Designers will get standard cut minus my usual 20 percent and in this case printing costs (low due to continuous ink system!!!)

I need the models complete and mailed by end of september. If you already have one built thats fine - same deal applies.

If you send me an ecardmodels exclusive it will be 5 times value of kit. :)

I guess that means that landing gear is optional?

I've got a few spare DGA models that could use a good home. You OK with small scale? (1:72) - most of the models I'd part with are about 15-25cm in wingspan.

Any thoughts on protecting the models for shipment? I recently brought a couple models on vacation with me (in a box with tissue surrounding each) and to get some good photos with a friend's professional camera. The models both suffered moderate damage and the box wasn't tossed around much at all. (Bent biplane struts, broken fuselage on Old Crow, and broken-off landing gear.) All recoverable with a bit of CA glue but I wouldn't want you to have to spend a lot of time repairing all the models heading your way.

it be tough to get the dream ones to draw the eyes do. Can't see anyone building the Uboat in two weeks

Uber awesome woudl be nice but I dont see it happening, besides simple might be better to intro models but it would be nice to have a couple REALLY good ones to showcase :)

forgot the packing question....

I packed a rather fragile plane to my father in law a few years ago....

used a pretty good sized box about 2 inches larger on every side. layer of packing peanuts. Put in plane. filled to the top with peanuts. sealed and shipped. Only damage was landing gear came off that I could not get to stay on hardly in the first place ;) it was a kamikaze so it was in flight configuration ;)
