Modern Airfield Accessories?

I would like to place a series of 1:33 scale modern aircraft, mostly military jets, in an airshow (or military airfield) setting circa 2010. To this end I am looking for suitable card models of vehicles, devices, and accessories, both civilian and military. I would prefer detailed models in 1:33 scale, with detail being much more important than scale Any ideas? Retail or free is fine. I've seen a tug and a WWII accessory set but both look too old for modern use.

Thanks!

-Doug

I am planning a second Aircraft Diorama Kit
...and the goal was to create more up-to-date items.

Maybe Korean Era or even newer?
It will definately include some Jet support equipment.

I have the basic design started for a newer TowMotor (I think it might be a Navy design)
and a few other more modern (after WW2) pieces are already researched.

Unfortunately, this isn't something I am working on at the present...
lots of other card model projects at the moment,
so I can't really offer a design or release date for the kit.

Dave, I found your design thread for the automotive set and read about the future airfield set. Many items in the automotive set will work. Your have fundamentally sound designs and your artwork looks very good. I was hoping for more detail--drawers that can be posed open, more 3D representation of features, etc., but I can modify the models to meet my requirements.

Doug - if you make these kinds of modifications please work closely with Dave - given his approval you could sell (or give away) that as an add on

Chris, if I add details to Dave's kit it will be more scratch building than card model designing. I have no desire to reinvent the wheel. But if I end up crossing into that territory I will definitely contact and work with Dave.
