Deeps Space Model Measurements and Model difficulty

So that every model made by different creators has an internal game logic, me and Chris discussed some issues and decided a few things:

Ship Sizes:

Fighter marker - 5 cm (The actual fighter for the second game will be bigger.)
Destroyers - 10 - 15 cm
Frigates - 12 to 18 cm
Cruisers - 17 - 23 cm
Battleships - 23 to 30 cm

Building Difficulty

Difficulty must be easy to medium for the beginning models. Later we can make special units with a wider level of difficulty. Getting into the game must be easy.

I can agree no more :D

Relating to the definition of Frigate, shouldn't the general size order be corvette<frigate<destroyer? I know this is some murky area even today but we need a simple agreement on the fact - namewise.

I can agree with that, but it's not necessarly like that. Sizes of destroyer and frigates are mixed... But we can make this so, because it's our universe.

mixed yes but in general a bit smaller, hence the great amount of overlap
