I sent the files off to Billy Levelid to beta build. Normally I do my own beta's, but I just didn't have the time or patience for this one (Lots of fiddly parts)

I haven't measured or rescaled, but REALLY? That's huge! For my scale!

Here's the math as I did it:

Real= 138 ft 5.5 in x 12= 1661.5 inch

Model= 38 inch Wingspan

__43.7_
38|1661

Scale= 1:43 or 1:44ish

(insert scale calculator program here)

Wingspan in 1:144= 11.34 inches

Not a small plane

OH. I was working on it last night and caught that I messed up the outer wing tips for the top wing. They're upside down(the spots markinng the struts are on top instead of on the bottom.

Looking forward to the release of this one. WWI and golden age bombers are fertile fields for model developments.

Staaken Withdrawal Symptoms

Help, I am suffering from extreme staaken withdrawal syndrome.

Could you please post even a picture of a sub assembly, even a lenght of thread might be enough, if you lable it as a peice of rigging, to get me through the beta build waiting period.

Thanks, best wishes for the new year.

Unfortunately, this model died a rather painful death a few computer crashes ago.

Fortunately, I revived a simpler model and it should be available soon through ecardmodels.com.

If Billy still has the more complicated version, and he or somebody else wants to develop it further (Ken West maybe), they can.
