I'd love some good shots of the rear end of the Long EZ. I can't find anything that isn't obscured by the winglets. I don't have any clue how it transitions from the canopy to the engine section.

I just saw a 3d model of it, maybe it can be of some help:
Mike James Media Berkut/Long EZ Project - Introduction

Edit:
Here's a photo of the rear of a real EZ:

but I think the underside is best seen in the 3d model.

I'm about 2/3 done with the Quickie. That's a great model Murph!

Cool shots of the Long EZ. And on the 3D model, I like the idea of retractable landing gear. Makes it easier to engineer than those spindly bow struts most versions have.

If you have any problems with the Quickie, give me a shout.

Your design is great man. The only problem I'm having now is getting enough uninterrupted time to finish it.

I'm using this as a test build. If it's okay with you, I'd like to do a repaint of it for my local EAA chapter. They have worked with me to get 15 of my aviation students on Young Eagle flights this spring. I think this plane totally embodies the EAA and its mission.

Go for it. I've always been a big fan of repaints.

Hello

Aaron, you're a genius. The Quickie is such an awesome build. Here's a photo, it's not the greatest pic ever taken, I'll take another one and post it later today.

You design them, I'll buy them.

Regards

That looks way better then the one I did. Someone once told me my talent lies in designing, not building.

I'm trying to decide on which Rutan bird to do next. The choices are the Boomerang, Ares, or Varieze. I wanna do the Variviggen, but I can't find 3-views. Also for the Voyager. If anybody can find 3 views, I'd be a happy camper.
