New model ideas

I wanna use this thread to bounce model ideas off of people, and take requests.

First off, I wanna gauge the interest in this particular bird:

I've already got most of it unrolled, so it should be possible to build.

These are what I have in process at the moment:

-Bede Bd-5 and BD-5J (propjob and jet). Pics once I finish the builds tomorrow.

-Starr Bumblebee. Pics again once I get the build done tomorrow (busy day tomorrow)

-Rutan Quickie. Beta build done, but gonna take pics tomorrow (gonna have a group pic.)

-Lippish Aerodyne. Beta build done, pics tomorrow

-SNECMA Coleoptere. Still gotta finish unfolding, then print and build.

-P-38 redraw. Still in process of unfolding.

There's more, but I think that's enough for now.

I'm gonna release the Bumblebee as a freebie here, once I figure out page layout, and draw up the instructions...which brings up another question. What's the most popular style of instructions..

I like FG style because it's easy for me. Step by step drawings would take forever to do, and I suck at taking pics for step by step pics.

The Optica, if I remember right. German design. I had the plans for an R/C version at one time. The canopy would be hard to model in paper, I think. Looking forward to the bumble bee, and the group photo. I dearly hope things are going better for you, murphyaa.

Uhu's method for transparency (in his agro-ships ) would lend itself well to this mode. Nice looking model. You've gone this far, unrolling it is easy. Do it. If you're thinking about selling it that's a different issue altogether. People are fickled. Nice job though!!

Hey Aaron, that's an interesting! looking aircraft.

How you doing back there? I was back in Oklahoma a few weeks ago when that big storm hit. Was never so glad to get back to Phoenix.

I'm barely surviving here. The recession finally hit my company and I got laid off. Fortunately, I was able to find another job, but I don't know what the pay will be. That's why I'm trying to push to get some models out. I need money.

BD-5 and Rutan Quickie--actually any Rutan design--would be welcome. No one has ever done a Long-Eze or a Voyager.

I've eventually want to do as many Rutan planes as can be done in paper. I'm just searching for good 3 views and images.

As for using Uhu's method for transparencies...I haven't found his site yet
