Heh.. Sorry a moment of silliness.. How about the CH-46 Skyknight. I don't remember seeing any decent largish scale on the net free or sale.

You could devise a similar system. Have posts made from rolled card with teeth at either end which would be bent out as glue tabs. Then the inside edge of the wings would have a cog mechanism to provide the swing wings. The swing wing aircraft could be the very first with 'formers'. I think a template laminated to thicker card or backing could do the trick. All contained in one of your center wing supports which you do to make one long wing to slide through the fuselage. See below Look here for larger samples of the instruction sheets...which may also provide you with some ideas for models . Revell: Instruction Plans |

Haven't got too far on it yet. I'm still trying to figure out the center wing section.
I'm taking a couple days off to move. I'll fire things back up once I get settled in. |

Paragon has done some great things with swing wings using those "cogs". I've built a couplle of his planes and they work fantastically.

Hey Aaron, just wanted to let you know I just printed out the L-40 (and ran out of yellow ink) a few minutes ago. First, i'm gonna finish an A-26 Invader i'm doing for the contest, then gonna attempt to get the fuselage of the L-40 done tonight. The Hoodlum will have to be put on hold until I can replenish my ink supply. Also, check your email, a message is waiting for you.
