I need some printer help here.
I have an HP C6180 All-in-one. Several months ago, the magenta and black cartridges ran out. When I tried to print a window would pop up telling me to replace the black and magenta, and it wouldn't print. At the time, I had a new black cartridge, so I replaced it. Today, I finally replaced the Magenta. Unfortunately, it's still giving me the window error message and not printing. Is there some way to reset the printer or software, short of heavy artillery fire or high explosives?

Well, you could try the old fashion way and unplug it. Or you could see if there is a settings area. I have an HP Photosmart D7560 and I have a settings section as soon as I turn it on. Another option is to re-install software if your printer requires it.

I unplugged and moved it a mile from it's original location, and that didn't help.
But uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it did. Working on fixing the A-10 right now.

Cool. Once that's done, I can help do a test build. Plus, I'm looking for a model to give my collection a little more ummfff.

I know, but this one had some serious issues that I have to fix on the fly. As it was released, it's barely buildable.

are the ink cartridges OEM or off brand?
I have a lexmark that I bought off brand ink for and it gives me the warning, but will still print, I had to check a box somewhere in the settings for it to ignore the warnings.
