I wanted to try something to eliminate the heavy lines between parts.

Here's before, with heavy edges:

After, without edges:
Upcoming models-goose-unlined.jpg

If it works, I'll start doing this with all future models.

I'm asking $8. I had to put a lot of work into this one.
When you order, let me know if you want lined or unlined.
Also, make sure your email can handle 32MB files. If not, I'll break it into smaller chunks.

MurphyAA sent the full size, 31mb file to me using Adobe SendNow. What he didn't understand at first is that when he sent the file, I only received an email with a download link.

Imagine that you want to download something from the PM Downloads section or ECardmodels. In the case of the Spruce Goose, you are paying for a really nice model and getting a download link in your email.

Nothing could be easier.

Good luck with sales!

BTW, did you know that the SGoose was a government contract? There are no copyright issues with offering the model for sale via ECard.

The lighter parts lines look great! Be cautious though it might not suit every design.

The Goose looks good, can't wait.

The impression I got from Chip Fyn and several other people is that Evergreen aviation some how acquired a copyright for the Spruce Goose, and they're quite aggressive about protecting it.

When I worked directly for Fiddlersgreen back in '05, we discussed doing a model of the Goose, and he related to me that he'd made inquiries already, but Evergreen requires a large licensing fee, and complete control of the design process (every part gets scrutinized). That's probably why there are few models of it, paper or plastic.

Translating the Evergreen issues into day-to-day English:
A bunch of predatory opportunist hyenas got together, acquired Copyright to the term Spruce Goose and related design, then decided to ruthlessly exploit same for simple commercial gain, and thus get profit for next to no effort on their part. Hence their "protectiveness".

Regardless those hyenas, I wish your model of the "Aspen Duck" every possible success Aaron my friend, for surely your efforts and works deserve good and full reward, where Evergreen's do not.

Kind and Respectful Regards Aaron my friend, Uyraell.

While I was researching pictures of the Goose, I came to realize that she'll probably never fly again. They've cut huge holes in the fuselage near the waterline, and stripped a larger section of her skin away.

So much for Mr. Hughes wishes that she be kept in flying condition.

I've got some similar pictures of her on my tertiary computer.
They were taken for me by a friend who visited the museum in which she now resides.
The pictures are not a lot different to what you show here Aaron my friend, but it's clear the Spruce goose will never again take to the skies. Not that she should: it is, after all one of those cases where the aircraft is so unique it should not fly again.

Kind and Respectful Regards Aaron my friend, Uyraell.
