Good build. My only observation concerns the abrupt end of the dark green splinter on the left wing. There should be some continuation onto the fuselage to make it
a smoother transition.

Already tweaked(I removed the offending section of camo).
Uyraell, if you can find me 3-views, I'll add them to the list. I'm currently working on the Nazi version of the V-22. |

Check this out!
Hey Aaron, if your still on that Luft 46 kick, here's a suitable idea. Earlier today, I was watching "Hitler's Stealth Fighter" on National Geographic and it discussed about the Horten HO-229 and at the end the Horten HO-18. The HO-18 is basically a bigger and more powerful version of the HO-229. It was intended to be an intercontinental, long range bomber, but it never made it past the drawing board. There seems to only one card model of it, and it's on paper-replika. But this is not the truly envisioned version of the bomber. I managed to find a three-view, but it's a small picture, plus it doesn't show the landing gear and it's not very detailed, but I also found some Concept arts to hopefully give you an idea of what it looks like. Anyway, pictures are posted below.

One more reason I say we didn't win World War Two....Hitler lost it! If he had listened to his commanders they should have won....Thank God he was a dumb ass.....Rich

Aaron, I apologise for the delayed reply.
I gave found a couple of links. Arado Ar E.381 Luft '46 entry Blohm und Voss BV.40 - fighter glider Luftwaffe Resource Center - Fighters/Destroyers - A Warbirds Resource Group Site Blohm & Voss BV Ae 607 Luft '46 entry http://wrrnzb2.devhub.com/img/upload/tgytukfyk8897.jpg http://jul.2chan.net/dat/v/src/1335938292801.jpg The Heinkel He-162 Volksjaeger I apologise also for the mis-key regarding the Arado 381. I had meant 381 but had typed 581. The 381 III was the parasite fighter I had intended to indicate to you. The bottom link is to an He.162 C and D. Most references seem to put the forward-swept wing development as the D, and the rearward-swept wing as the C. My references (Aero Series Publications Number 4, By Ed. Maloney, Illustrated by Uwe Feist. ISBN-O-8168-051 2-1) show the fsw as being the C, and the rsw as being the D. Wm. Green in "Warplanes of the Third Reich" is not overly clear on the C or D model fsw/rsw identification issue. As the Aero Series monograph is later, I have taken that as being the more reliable in this instance. The model I am suggesting is the He.162 with forward swept wing, with V-tail. Kind and Respectful Regards Aaron my friend, Uyraell.

Knocke argues that by 1945 Russia was actually the far greater threat than Germany ever had been. He also makes the same point you have, Rich: given the technology Germany had available, and the leadership qualities of the various Generals and Admirals, Germany should have won but did not, mainly due to Hitler's flaws. Certainly in terms of advanced design jet fighters, and submarines Germany was ahead. The same is almost true with regard to tanks. Kind and Respectful Regards Rich, Uyraell.
