Keep the suggestions coming guys. I do have a request though. My google search skills are...let's just say sub-par...I searched the Ryan XV-5, and didn't find any 3-views. (this is a request for any info, I think the XV-5 is cool.)
Soooo... if you want to request a design, the more information included, the better chance of it getting done. |

The main thing I need is a 3-view, which you can post here.

The problem that I see with making models of such varied and interesting aircraft is their limited appeal to buyers of models.
It takes a lot of time to design a model - even simple models. The question needs to be asked: Will there be enough buyers to justify the time? |

I think that there ARE "oddball" (from the lack of models) aircraft that would have a wider appeal than some of the ideas posted here. Another suggestion would be to do a series of all of the "oddball" aircraft, say, that were in a series, like all of the US fighter prototypes that did not come to fruition, or bombers, etc... For instance, you could do the North American Aviation bomber prototypes that did not go into production... You could start with the NA-40 (I have a 3-view) north american na-40 - Google Search Then do the XB-28 north american xb-28 - Google Search The-Blueprints.com - Blueprints > WW2 Airplanes > North American > North American XB-28 (USA) (1942) Then do a B-45 Tornado... The-Blueprints.com - Blueprints > Modern Airplanes > North American > North American B-45 Tornado Or some other "product line" that might grab a consistent customer base... Ryan
