Bit of lightning out this morning...
Test built a few sections, and it worked out pretty good, so I colored up a version. Pics as soon as it's built. Scale's gonna be 1:45-ish (13.75 in wingspan) Unfortunately, I don't know what model it is. The 3-view I used didn't say, and I don't know much about different the types )The wingtips got rounded after I unrolled them. It's easier than trying to make them in 3D) |

Well, it's definitely later than an -F model, the under engine intakes were slanted back on the earlier models.

Better shots and view...
The F version is not exist in paper model world. Exist many kits about P-38H or G but no the early versions used in first stages of Pacific War... Please Aaron make my Christmas make a P-38F Regards my friend!!! |

Hmm. I could knock off a few parts(the chin radiators), do some redraw, and have an F model. Sounds easy enough

P-38F is about 95% completed (need to do a final build, then draw up instructions)
I was reading through some threads, and came across a mention of the Budd Conestoga. I've wanted to design a model of that one since the first time I saw one at the Pima Air and Space museum in Tuscon Here. Question is, would there be enough interest to make designing it worth the effort? Or should I start hammering out how to make the wings on the F-14 work in paper? I've pretty much designed all my favorite planes, so now I'm just working on ones that have the "Wow" factor, or have potential to be big sellers. |

I got struck by Lightning today (Don't worry, the pun's will probably get worse)
and it's in 1/38 scale. Kinda cool Notice the sharply swept back intakes on the engine |
