The Mixmaster is still in process. Right now it's doing its best to frustrate me.

After tinkering with Squad 51, I thought I'd do a series of fire trucks. Eventually I'll do Engine 51 once I get enough reference material (anybody happen to have 3-views of a 1965 Crown Firecoach handy?)
To get it started off, I'm gonna try this little speedster: All I know about it is it's a 1920 Luverne Fire Truck. This is the only picture I can find of it. I'd gladly appreciate any help, because I know absolutely nothing about trucks from the '20's. I'd like to find out what the rear end looks like, is it chain drive, or does it have a drive shaft? I can't tell from the image. I could also use some detail about the pump and other stuff under the seat. And what it carried in back. Otherwise I'll have to make things up. Here's what I have so far: |
