Here's the finished Kettengrad. I made the tracks from normal copy paper so the are thin enough to droop naturally. I added an extra link to each tread to provide a little slack to the tracks. The model got a little beat up in my suitcase, so it has a little bit of battle damage. I will have a better build report and better glamour photos tomorrow after I get home.
All wheels turn, the steering pivots, and the treads are articulated. |

I've got a bit of a challenge for those who like doing research
I wanna call it the "Angry Long EZ" And the Boeing Vertol XCH-62 "Super Chinook" (My nickname for it) I could use some good 3-views. I found one for the Boeing Vertol, but it isn't very good |

This is what I found on the -62's Wiki page from the Resin kit of the helicopter http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/fumi_bnr32/61057969.html a picture of the resin model showing the parts lay out

The helo looks like Boeing's version of the Mil Mi-10. Loooong legs. I guess they wanted into the heavy lift game with Sikorsky's Skycrane.

Aeroprogress T-720 research
Almost nothing on the t-720 outright, although some things can be assumed...
a lot of fanfic on it, not really factual though. The company, Aeroprogress, is a Russian company that has been making aircraft since 1991. Not to be confused with a U.S. company called the Washington Aeroprogress, the two aren't related. Washington has more homebuilt, older aircraft. The company seems to still be up and running. I will try to email them to see if they have further information. As for the actual plane, one helpful webpage is a 3D Computer Aided Design of the T-720 ( https://grabcad.com/library/aeroprogress-t-720-1) and from certain angles, it slightly resembles the MiG-29, which makes sense since the airplane was introduced only 8 years before this airplane's prototype, and the MiG-29 is still a relevant, formidable foe for today's 4th+ and, dare I say, 5th generation fighters. Whether this resemblance in the first half of the plane is intentional is unknown, no mention of it. This plane probably never had a chance to make it to the actual production stage. With 1991 one year before the dissolution of the USSR, I would assume that the company itself had a hard time staying afloat, and had to throw this radical design overboard. However this plane may have survived since one source claims "about 1995/6, Aeroprogress showed a number of light Shturmovik style projects at airshows." Although the t-720 bears little resemblance to the Shturmovik, it isn't impossible that those planes survived the USSR break-up, which opens up a new possibility for the t-720. In fact, that source ( http://www.secretprojects.co.uk/foru...opic,50.0.html ) even brings the t-720 up with the following info: "T-720 Crew: 2 Normal TO Weight: 4,500 kg Maximum Speed: 750 km/h Maximum Range: 1,400 km Engine: One RKBM TVD-1500 turboprop of 970 kW Armament: Under fuselage gun pod, 8 x underwing pylons The T-720 was projected as a lightweight combat aircraft with a six-blade pusher propeller. (This is the 'Aeroprogress Shturmovik' in overscan's post above.)" That's the most info that I could find directly related to the T-720, but I'm proud of my research nonetheless. This site also allows me to be positive of this plane being grounded 1996 at the latest by it's mention of the RKBM TVD-1500 turboprop, an engine which, according to http://www.flightglobal.com/news/art...-38-use-11689/, "has been grounded through lack of funds. " Most factual sites just have the same info in the pic Aaron posted above repeated over and over again, with different parts left in or cut out. Surprisingly, there is a good model of this plane despite little accessible knowledge. Here are some pics of it

Hey Murph, ever given any thought into making a Messerschmitt Bf-109E-4?
I love -109's and a Murph's Models Bf-109 would be greatly appreciated! -RunwayOneSixRight (Matthew) |

Me-109's are too common among paper models. I'm trying to stick to not so common. Unless somebody commissions something.
Although... Speaking of commissions: And I'm trying to drag myself out of a design funk, so I thought I'd try something ugly and wierd. |

Well,...... That last one is certainly ugly and weird. So when will it be finished? lol
