Or use the upcoming C-119 model as a repaint subject. There are lots of colorful schemes for this aircraft, as seen in earlier posts. Looked like a lot of interest in the model too, based on the many requests.

I agree with knife, a great idea.

I thought about doing a Diorama contest. I'm already planning on a few versions of the C-119 myself (including the AC-119).

If you were thinking there weren't enough strange Russian bombers out there, I am presenting the Yermolayev Yer-2.

It's on the list, but I believe there's one in the download section here.

A build contest might work too, but I dunno if there are any recent models that everybody's excited about.

Any ideas?
Late to the party (again), how 'bout a free-for-all?

Repaint ANY model, build, put in a diorama, etc…

Would allow someone to do their favorite, and possibly showcase a wider variety of models that are available.

Just my 2¢ worth...

1/72. Something larger is a most excellent idea! (And don't forget the NASA tailband!)
