I fully agree, it's a great bargain!

Sadly.. I don't build enough any more to justify that.. but, I think it's a fantastic idea!

And yes. Even though I started with FG models, these are very much higher quality. No more of the ill fitting and ugly F-16 models that are 10 years old..

I would go for it. Sounds like a good deal.

Unfortunately my interest is only aircraft of WW1 and the pre-WW2 timeframe so a plan like that wouldn't appeal to me. For those who are "everything murphyaa" fans it sounds like a good deal.

Falco's fears resonate with me, too. Good deal for us, but sounds like lots of administrative overhead at your end. Unless you have a family member who can run this program for very little pay, I'm afraid that it would take up more and more of your time. In turn, that would seriously cut into the time you need to design these models. Don't mean to stifle your creativity, but I'd hate to see you piling unnecessary stress on yourself.

It can't be too much more stress than is all ready there. Just based off of responses here, I don't see more than 5 or 6 people going with it, and it wouldn't take more than a second to add new links to everybody's pages.

Aaron, what scale is the XV-15? I have your model, and can't find the scale on it.

It's 1:42. I put the scale on the site.

About your subscription idea... Can subscribers submit and vote on the next models to be designed by you? I believe being able to do that will be an instant sign up from me.

I hadn't thought about that. I gotta think through the details on how it'll work though.

Commissions give me a kick in the butt and force me to work on a model I may not have any interest in, because somebody has paid for it.

Maybe Subscription members suggestions can have more weight than regular suggestions (Some suggestions don't even cause the interest needle to jiggle even a little bit).

You can take your top 5 member suggestions and have a vote on those. If you don't like a suggestion,( ie. it doesn't move your needle) it doesn't make your list.

Great idea on your subscription based business! I wish you much success!
