I'm thinking of going back to offering DVDs through the mail. The thumbdrives didn't really work out because they were too hard to get a hold of. Everywhere keeps them locked up now. DVD-R's are about a dime a dozen now (I saw a pack of 100 selling for $20.00.)
I was thinking of breaking everything up in categories across a couple DVD's, mainly because my standard policy of adding the price of everything up, then cutting the total in half still comes out to about $600, which I don't think anybody will jump at. This is the math I'm working with: Buildings & Vehicles 5 files 54.5mb Civilian 54 files 544mb Helicopters 23 files 159mb Military 133 files 1.06mb Seaplanes 31 files 317mb Spaceships 4 files 24mb X-planes 40 files 272mb The 3 DVD's would be: 1. Military 1.06gb $150 2. Civilian + Helicopters + Buildings 757mb $75 3. Seaplanes + X-planes +Spaceships 613mb $75 The size and number of files will change (I just finished 3 versions of the MiG 19 at work today, plus as beta builds finish off, I add them to the folders). The other option would be to sell my master download list for about $200, which has the download links for every model on it. You'd still have to download the models though. |

I'm kinda in a design rut at the moment. I've got lots of ideas, just no motivation to work on them (I spent an entire day working on the nose of the Sikorsky HH-52, and got nowhere).
So, I'm gonna churn out some recolors until inspiration strikes again. First off is a Kriegsmarine version of the Heinkel HE-59: Done, just waiting it's turn in the beta build queue Than a manned/unmanned version of the Kaman K-Max: Will be ready for beta tomorrow Followed possibly by a firebomber version: I found the Rhino file, so I should be able to design the water tank. No ETA on this one. I also found the Rhino file for the Hind, plus spent a long time molesting the one they have down at Pima, so I'll see if I can get that one done. |

Looks like I'll definitely be doing a new Catalina version. Haven't seen this one before.
Oh and the Privateer is looking gorgeous |

Hey, do you design trains??? If you do, I'd love to have these built. They even appeared in my dreams. Funny.

Dunno. The picture above is the latest progress shot they've shown. No idea what they're plans are for it.
In another world, lessee if this stirs anything up: I'm using as much of the existing fuselage as I can. And I'm gonna include formers that should be able to be retrofitted to the Hind A model. |
