Beta build for the Dornier DO-31. Everything did what I wanted it to do, so I went ahead and finished up the model.

Upcoming models-do-31.jpg

I'll upload it Sunday or Monday (Library's closed today, and I'm going hiking tomorrow.)

My rules for designing models:

1: No planes with more than 4 engine nacelles
2: No planes with more than 10 wheels
3. No more biplanes...
Upcoming models-condor.jpg

I've developed a hatred for biplanes...

Anybody have any good pics of the marking for Admiral Byrd's Antarctic Expedition Condor?

I was just going to suggets painting that condor as Adniral byrds. I used to have a copy of the book Byrd wrote about his @nd expedition to Little America, had B/W photos of the condor and his other planes in iit, looked like they were painted dark blue in the fhotos but I think they were actuall painted red, just turned out thaqt way in the photos.

I found a pic of a plastic model of Byrd's Condor, and it's in blue and yellow. What I need is a good shot of all the markings on it. There are lots of little logo's all over the sides.

I managed to find or make all the textures I need. Byrd's condor had interchangeable landing gear; floats, wheels or ski's. I may release floats later, after I get them done.

Right now I need some more Rhino help; I'm trying to create this color scheme,

but I don't know how to get text to curve in Rhino

Brute force?
In Rhino: put in a curve where the text needs to be. Then got in after making the pages bitmaps edit the text in along the curve line?
