Yeah, I decided not to change the scales of the models. I shrunk the N3N down to 1/48 and needed a magnifying glass to see it. I just posted a conversion chart on my site that I'll try and keep updated.

On the conversion chart, 1/44 should read 1/144. Well, just a typo, guess everyone will understand.

I need build pictures of my latest releases (Sikorsky H-34 Choctaw, NASA Vigilante, XP-47J, Yokosuka Judy), so we're gonna have a little contest.
Whoever submits the best looking picture of each model will get a free model of their choosing. Just as a FYI, I have a swarm of Dehavilland Mosquitos, a pack of N3N Yellow(ish) Perils, a camouflage Heinkel He-59, and a Northrop YA-9 to be released in the next month, not to mention several others that are in the planning stages (BF-109 Zweilling anybody?). I'm including the Judy and prototype XP-47J because my pictures suck. Rules for the pictures: -Uncluttered background (unless in a diorama) -Background needs to contrast with the model (light colored model = dark background, dark colored model = light background.) -Must be one of the 8 models listed above. -Have fun with it. |

Anybody happen to live near March Air Force Base in California and need an excuse to visit the air museum?
I've learned the Northrop YA-9 had a 20mm Gatling gun installed for testing purposes (It was initially designed for the same gun as the A-10, the 30mm GAU-8 Avenger) After some research, I discovered that it was mounted in pretty much the same position as the YA-10: Only problem is, unlike on the A-10, the gun doesn't stick out the front of the plane. So, where did the bullets leave the plane? More research says there was a trough on the bottom of the nose that the gun fired through. This picture kinda shows it: What I need is a full picture of the trough so I can design it in. edit: I did find this video showing the YA-9 and YA-10 flyoff |

Here ya go
Ya-9 cannon location
It would appear the cannon is mounted on the centerline, not offset. That is why the nose gear is offset

I just figured out how to get Paypal to do recurring payments (subscriptions). So I'm gonna modify the subscription page. What would people be willing to pay every month for new models? I was thinking $15 a month, to get every new model as they're released.
$15 seems a good amount for me, because some months I get a good flow going and release a lot of models, and some months beat me over the head with a stick, and I don't get any models out, so hopefully it would balance out. |

Timely, Murph, as my existing subscription page is just about used up. Sign me up.

I'm adding the button to my site as we speak. Just to keep the lawyers at bay, this will be an automatically recurring payment of $15 every month.
*EDIT* And it's ready |
