Alan -

Even worse (and I cannot put my hands on the documentation just now) I recall reading that in the early days after the Pearl Harbor attack, both SBDs and TBDs were used for combat air patrols.

If anyone can confirm or deny with documentation, I would be grateful.

Don

I just received this gorgeous repaint in the email. I'm gonna do some tweaks, then I'll be putting it up on my site.

The Royal Coffin Factory D3AD Flying Coffin.

It'll come with optional tattered skins for the flying surfaces.

And this guy as the pilot

In an effort to turn my site into a one stop model shop (and because I'm binging on Black Sheep Squadron), I present a plane that might look like a Corsair:

Upcoming models-not-corsair.jpg

I'm planning on a few versions:

Of course I gotta have the one down at Pima, and a NACA one. (Maybe Les has some pics?)

There might be a slight resemblance.
