Too much work to form a text arc. So I just projected an arc on the fuselage, and used it to line up in Photoshop.
Now for the hard stuff: On a side note, ecardmodels just released the AJ-2 Savage trainer model, and are gonna release a model a week. I'm already 4 models ahead (RAH-66 Comanche, Dornier DO-31, and 2 Curtiss Condors). I finish a model every 3 days, give or take. A CD sounds like a good idea if you don't want to wait a month or more for your favorite plane. |

Maybe while I'm up in Ohio I can stop into Wright State University's Research Library. They have a nice collection of Jane's All World Aircraft.

The Comanche and Dornier DO-31 are available now:
Comanche Dornier DO-31 I'm giving up on the CD's. The response has been so underwhelming I didn't even notice one. I managed to get the Tweet unrolled with only minor difficulties. Another day to draw tabs, then I'll print and betabuild. |

Tweet trainer?
Murphy, is this a trainer or the Super Tweet attack version? Because of the fuselage differences (biggest issue), I was contemplating converting the Monogram plastic kit to a trainer with trepidation. If your design is the trainer, then I save myself that bother!

I fyou do the Firebee and Quail, I get get you VERY close up pictures. Well, the Firebee is hanging over an open area, but it's close enough to get shots. I can touch the Quail and even measure it if need be.

I'm starting off with the trainer version (I think)
I'm using this 3-view: I think I can pull off the Attack version with minor tweaks (add wingtip tanks, weapons pylons, and the minigun). Unless there are other fuselage differences I'm not seeing. Gonna do one of each for my 2 versions. I haven't decided if I wanna do missiles and drones yet. I'm thinking of doing the Hound Dog, because Dad worked on them, but other than that, it's still up in the air. |
