Hi Carlos. Thanks for the great info on the clipped wingtips. The level of research and knowledge our cardmodelling community has is quite incredible.

Regards,
John

Murphy,

My condolences for the loss of your pet. I have been there a few times. Back in the '80s, the Air Base to which I was assigned was reduced from 600 military to 6 military. My job was to close all the support functions and move the remainder to a mountain top. After the last family moved out of the base housing, I made a final check to make sure all the empty homes were locked and the entrance gates were locked. I found a Main Coon Cat sitting on one of the porches (obviously left behind). I had just lost my dog, so I figured that I could keep him until the owner called or find him a good home. That night I woke up with chest pains and short of breath (I thought that I was having a heart attack). The cat, which must have weighed over 20 pounds, was sleeping on my chest. The owner never called and I did find him a very good home.

Just mindlessly doodling today because I can't focus on anything, and I ended up with this:

Just finished a quick build of the Corsair fuselage, camo British version, yeah, the one with
clipped wings. The length measures 11 inches, whereas the real one 400 inches, so the scale
is 1/36. The firewall on the first page of the kit needs a central line and an up arrow to avoid
distortion of installing the engine block. Perhaps Aaron could add it back. I'll be enlarging
it to 1/33, in line with my collection of N3N and Defiant. So if you have your hands on any
of these kits and if you want to blow it up to 1/33, print at 109% 300 dpi will do the trick.
