I work on models as inspiration hits me. For instance, I need to stop watching Bermuda Triangle shows on Netflix while staring at a blank Rhino screen...
Scale is 1:40 Also in progress and planning are: 2-tone gray British Tarpon Canada Canadian Firebomber Come on, it's all red And of course Flight 19. |

Ah I see and is there anyway we could inspire you to do airliners again?

Donations generally help. I'll contribute towards a Boeing 757 and/or other airliners.

Well I'd love to see you design a 767... so I'll see what I can do. I'm also doing some recolors on your 737...

i just had an idea for a repaint contest.
In 1919, after World War I, pilots of the 94th fighter squadron (Hat in the Ring) had a competition to see who could paint their SPAD S.XIII the craziest. That led to some rather interesting schemes: I should have a B&W file for the SPAD S.XIII ready to roll in a day or two. I'm gonna release it, and start a contest: Who can submit the craziest paint scheme? -No research! Use your imagination. -Go nuts. -Have fun -Print out the B&W, and hand the pages to your kids (or grandkids) along with a box of crayons, then scan the results back in. You can also do this yourself with markers or colored pencils (or crayons). -Open the files in your favorite image manipulation software, then cover the computer mouse with catnip. The more cats you have, the better. -Cover the mouse with gravy or something similar if you have dogs instead of cats. -I'm not one to encourage drinking and repainting, but give it a try this time. (On second thought, don't. Repaint responsibly please) The only requirements are that you place the US Roundel on the top and bottom wings, and put the 94th Squadron logo on the sides In a month from when the contest starts, we'll pick a winner by poll. I'm working on these versions: Frank Luke.............Eddie Rickenbacker....Georges Guynemer......."Eastah Aigg" "Rising Sun"..........."Barber Pole" |
