Still looks a little bit too long, but better than before

Looks like the final solution is to remove a section from your revised template, Murph.
Didn't know that the SCA was and is getting so much attention!

The template in question.
It's frustrating, I know, but don't give up.

I really should have taken the advice of whoever said we didn't need another Shuttle Carrier model.

I'm sorry but I believe we do need a Shuttle Carrier. The only one we have is AXM Shuttle Carrier model and it is made up of bit and pieces and can be very confusing to build. The artwork isn't very good either. I am looking so forward to your version. Please don't give up on any of the 747 you have. They all will make such great display models. I know we consumers can be a pain in the butt. I'm sure we don't mean to be and if we are I for one am sorry.

Don't worry, Murph isn't the "give-up" type of guy. He'll see this through, haha, all ten of them in the bundle. But he'll be busy inspecting if the engines do fit each and every livery.

If I, as a builder, am not throwing in towel yet, there's no reason for him to abandon this project. All he needs is some cheering up like what you do, The Mole. Bet the rest of the community will be giving him moral support.

Murph's already done some "what if" versions of several planes. Perhaps all these recent airliners and engines will lend themselves to personal fantasy versions -- one part from Column A, two parts from column B, four parts from column C, and so on.

Murph is one of the top designers in my book. He has cranked out model after model. He has had some hard times and yet he keeps turning them out. He turns out models that would never have be available if it wasn't for him. This guy seems to never rest. I get tired and put away the scissors and glue for a rest once in a while but never Murph. He picks planes sometimes that there is little info on. Somehow he designs them and makes them real. I could go on and on. All I will say is my hat is off to you Murph. Thanks for your tireless work and great paper models.

Actually, I was thinking today at work what it would be like to design a plane with an engine on every possible location where engines have been mounted; Combine the 707= 4 on the wings, the Boeing 727= 2 on the aft fuselage, and 1 on the tail, and you could end up with a 7 engine plane. More if you do some of the lesser used variations (6 on the wings, 4 on the aft fuselage, 4 in the wing roots). Imagine how many passengers you could haul with a 15 engine plane.

Truthfully; none, because it would run out of fuel as soon as it got to the end of the runway.
