B-52 with it's 8 engines replaced with 4 of the 747's engines. Yeah I know that GE and Boeing borrowed one to test the new engines for the 747 and even proposed actually doing the engine replacement.

Gott ins Himmel!

Either of those pics Rick showed make my eyes sore, just looking at them.

Great artistry, perhaps, but oh Gods, the nightmares of trying to assemble either one, were they kitted.

I echo The_Mole in his noting Aaron's great efforts and greater results in designing. Aaron is one of several very talented designers here who go to great lengths to produce rare and unusual kits for us to enjoy. And I'm certainly very glad of Aaron and his fellow designers doing so.

Kind and Respectful Regards, Uyraell.

Agreed!!! My favorite Murph model is the SeaBee. But all his models are tops.
Keep up the good work!!

The 747 is on hold until Papermate gets back from vacation, but I'm moving on. Next project on the butcher's block is the Learjet 25, commissioned by Don Schmenke:

2 more versions in process:

I liked the color scheme of this one

Have to do some modifications for this one (different tail and engines)

It might be hard to believe but there is a camouflaged military version of Learjet. It's operated by Finland.

Kind of reminds me of a Jeep I saw in Korea while at the NCO Academy. Gloss jungle camouflage pattern, and waxed to a high sheen, lol.
