That 747 sure brings back fond memories of the "Freedom Bird" that brought me home...

Thanks AM.

Thanks. Yes I know there are other sites than ecards. I just like to support the peeps here on this forum, Roman & Nobi. Their stuff is a known entity to me.

I've been thinking about investing in some kind of tank system for my printer. Then I say this at my local WalMart

https://www.walmart.com/ip/Epson-Exp...anner/47090201

It's a bit pricey, but I wouldn't have to worry about making a mess trying to install it in my printer.

Does anybody have one, and have any recommendations?

Murph - I am really happy with my Epson ET-4750. Been using now for about two months, and although the black ink level has dropped a little, the color ink tanks still register full. SO far no problem with lines across the printed images. Some what more expensive than the ET-2550, but I am sold on the ink tank feature. Don

Question, does the refill ink from ink tank last as long as original branded supply? I know original ink can last surprisingly long, provided the right paper is used and protected from UV

I don't know. I am still working off the original fill, and will be for a very long time. And the computer came with a second set of refill bottles. Perhaps some others have been using these Epson printers with ink tanks and have also tried other refill inks (although because of the filling system, which uses a proprietary coupling between the refill bottle and the tank, the refill ink from another manufacturer would have to somehow be injected into the Epson refill bottles).

I checked while I was there, and they sell branded refill bottles for about $45 a pack, which is way cheaper than extended cartridges for my current printer cost (about $65 for a set).
