Just for the Fleet Air Arm:

Albacore, Swordfish, Tarpon, Shark, Sturgeon

Marine mammals: Sea Otter, Seafox, Seal, Walrus

US Navy: Airabonita, Seahorse, Seasprite, Skyshark

And as Butelczynski has pointed out, there are a LOT of airplanes named for sea and water birds and fish eaters, all of which quality under the rules for "Something Fish" (speaking as the one who wrote the rules, even though I will not be adjudicating the entries next Saturday).

Hmm. I have a Tarpon (I think...British Grumman Avenger?) And that Fairey Barracuda is almost too ugly.

Swordfish, Would need to be the squad that torpedoed the Bismarck's rudder.

Just my thoughts

Fishy planes

T-2 Buckeye, nicknamed Guppy by the Navy guys, but not so simple and limited repaints.

How about a CH-47 Chinook (it's a salmon) for your helicopter set. Good variety of schemes, including red and white Alaskan.

On the other hand, I would welcome a Fairey Barracuda, even if it is ugly. Have fun at IPMS.

Regards,
John

Just a small correction. It is IPMC, not IPMS. IPMS are the plastic folks!

Unfortunately, most of the fish-named aircraft aren't really suitable for your purpose, Murph. They tend to be like Emily Wilson's Odysseus: complicated.

Not sure how many noticed, there is a C-46 Commando coming up on site.

I'm not sure if they are full blown re-draw like P-38 but I'm happy anyway even if it's not exactly my flavor.I'll be more than happy to make a couple of them.

I hope Aaron makes aluminium/grey/whatever version available for re-marking along with B&W.I'm thinking Taiwan AF or something along those lines.

Of course I volunteer for beta of one of them.
