I thought about that. I actually did draw up a mount for the FG X-15 many years ago and sent it in to Chip, but it never appeared.

Recently I was looking at pictures of the FG B-52, plus my own memories of building it, and I don't think the fuselage shape is right. Theirs is too rounded. I've studied the B-52 (Pima has 4, plus the tail section of a 5th. Including an X-15 motherbird. And an X-15 mockup.)
The B-52 has more of a "rounded box" shape to it fuselage.

Well, it sure would have been nice of Chip to include this part with his B-52. I have always wanted to build his B-52 with the X-15 but without the X-15 mounting device, it was like the main part was left out. Sorry, you did all that work and then it never was used. I never could figure out why no one hadn't made one to use on this model. Thanks for the info.

Somewhere out there is a full M*A*S*H diorama for the FG Bell 47 that I did. Tents, jeep, ambulance. Even the iconic pole. I dunno what happened to that.

And a gunship version of their Huey, with guns, nose grenade launcher, rocket pods...

Good grief, I wonder how much other stuff he had that never got released. Someone over there needs to look around and release some of this stuff because I don't see too much new stuff coming from them lately.

I think when Chip passed 6 years ago (can't believe it has been that long) and there was no full-time maintenance, some things have been lost or slowed. I am glad that Scott has put in the hard work among his life priorities to keep the site up and available for us. Keep buying those keys .

Regards,
John
