Thanks for the models Aaron. Gonna print out the A-26 right now. I'm hoping to get a new camera tomorrow. BTW you can send the AN-2 to Chris cus I finished it. A little bit of trouble with the top wings, but nothing patience and care can't handle.

Just sent the Thud off to beta. I got ambitious and tried the camo pattern (fingers crossed).

I just downloaded every reference I could on the "Thud"nersbird version, so I'll get cracking on that one.

On an unrelated note, can anybody in South Dakota give me some advice?
I need to know how I would go about applying for work in the oil industry. I've heard good things about the employment rate in SD, but I have no clue even what city to move to. All this comes to a head on the 28th, so I gotta move fast.

Just finished half of the fuselage. Thankfully, the type of camera I had before was on sale for $20 so I bought two. One for me and one for my dad. Anyway. here it is

Aaron

Looking at the nose that Spacemen1969 built up....it appears that the nose art is just slightly too large.

And then....the right side of the nose has the wrong nose art on it. See here: Old Able's Story

Here is a good color close up of the one at Lackland: IMG_2930 "La Guadaņa" | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

I still can't find the photos I took of her.

About that Kawanishi, I think i have something that looks like it. Found it while romping around looking for something I can't remember. It looks a bit boxy and simple on the instructions though.

If the mods find me posting this here offensive, sorry! Feel free to remove them, but it was hidden very well on the internet.

The nose matches the 3-view I used, and the nose art is a direct import of the current nose art on the plane (although the photo showed the left side of the nose, so I had to guess what the right side would look like.) The original had the "lady" topless, while the current one is more politically correct. I'm just glad it lined up between all the sections (4 of them)

edit: I see what you mean, different art work on the right side. I'll see if I can find a better image to copy for the right side, or just leave it blank.

Moving on, here's a twofer, concurrent projects (both are more complicated and frustrating than they look, so I switch between them:

Nothing wrong with the nose structurally that I see....you'd be better at comparing that with the 3-view than I would.

Just the nose art looks too large. The elbow of the girl appears to go over the top of the nose when in the photos of the original and the one at LAFB only reaches to the curve on the side of the nose. Same with the text.
