Aaron. Airliner models generally in 1:144 scale, why don't you scale it down a bit, then it's more standardized, possibly a better sales opportunity? Just a thought.

Hmm. Possibilities there. Although there are some pretty small parts even at 1:115...Plus I already have the pages laid out.
I rechecked the wingspan. It's actually 20.45 inches. I guess a half inch really makes a difference. Last edited by murphyaa; 02-16-2012 at 06:58 AM. |

Time to tap the vast resources of the modelling community.
I'm looking for a 3-view of this little beauty: http://meltingpot.fortunecity.com/cl...8/sports2.html 16th plane down http://meltingpot.fortunecity.com/clyde/808/touring/tmeta.jpg Otherwise known as the Omnipol L-40 Meta-Sokol. Kinda looks like they put the landing gear on backwards Last edited by 3Turner; 02-16-2012 at 10:12 PM. Reason: fixed image link |

Just bought both the C-46s. Thanks Aaron. And, not to be greedy, but if you ever have a chance to recolor as the ROKAF version . . .

I gotta find a Korean font for that one.
Niki...Coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool. I do want to. Now to find a 3-view... I'm pulling things together to start on the Kamov Ka-26 next. Looks kinda like a baby Skycrane. This is the Omnipol L-40 Meta-Sokol. I have a book that shows a picture, and mentions it, but no 3-views. Anybody have anything better? Last edited by murphyaa; 02-17-2012 at 07:45 AM. |

I think I saw something on Military or History channel about the future of aviation and I think it said that the Coast Guard and Navy were looking into the AW609, at least as possibilities anyway. That would be cool. Talk about fast response to an emergency at sea for the CG.
