There's a full scale replica in the NRM and someone also has a running replica, so pictures should not be too hard to find.

Not online. I found a 3d rendering from laser scans of the Rocket as it is today, but that's after extensive modifications during it's career, and rotting in museums for 150 years. Pictures of the replica don't show the angles I need.

Just for fun I thought I'd give the Rocket something to do:
Upcoming models-img_20240322_230310582.jpg
This is a third class coach, which might be where we get the phrase "standing room only".

First class coach in progress. It has a lot more parts than the third class coach...like seats.

I was hoping you might design some coaches and wagons for Rocket to pull. I think the third class wagons did have wooden benches in them based on contemporary illustrations.
If you want to do another there is a Royal Mail coach in red and black that appears in illustrations of the train. Hornby have recently released it in OO gauge which has been widely slated for being overpriced, not having the advertised coupling, but mostly because it comes with a postilion figure who hilariously is hunched over and attached to the seat with a plastic plug sprouting from his, um, postilion. More hilariously still the plug is too long and sticks out of the hole in the seat, making the rear of the train look like a very open-air toilet!

Sam's Trains on Youtube? I saw that review.

Is there historical precedence for the Royal Mail Coach? Hornby's version looks like a repaint of their first class coach with fewer windows and a loo...I mean seat on the back. The only Royal Mail Coach from that era I could find looks nothing like it.

Hornby's version

Actual Coach

Hornby also offers a flatbed that looks like it's just the rolling chassis for the first class coach with wooden planks instead of a body.

Hey look, my beta build of the Big Boy tender was prototypical.

(This is 4014's actual tender after being primed, but before being painted.

Next up is a flat car, and the Royal Mail Coach

Then I have to draw up instructions for everything.

Ok, you've sold one of those already! Any plans to release the whole consist as a bundle?

And yes, it was the Sam's Trains video. Hilarious review, but with a serious point about overpricing for low-effort products.
