Still researching, but the L.12 that you have shown is the Entwurf III version, which never made it past the windtunnel due to high drag (and incapability of ever going supersonic) and was redesigned into the Entwurf IV version where the pilot was prone (laying down) so the intake didn't have to divert around the cockpit. So, the plane as designed would have never been armed. Most info out there is about the last version, (and most models of the L.12 are that version too). The best I've seen so far on the III version is int he following image:

http://www.luft46models.com/manufact...p12/lip12n.jpg

You could take an average male height and extrapolate the length of the plane from the sideview, then extend to the rest of the plane... Probably going to give you the best idea of the size/scale.

As the engine, it looks like the design was based on a radio-controlled bomb GB 3/L, so if you can find info about that, you might have what you need. I see one site offering dossiers on various luft46 projects, but unfortunately they're not free. Reichdreams Dossiers

That site doesn't make a lot of sense. The table shows a wider wingspan than length even though the plane looks slightly longer than wide, and it describes two turbojets but in the description talks about the single ramjet. Also the wing area and aspect ratios conflict fron the table to the description...

yeah i noticed that after i posted it, i would consider it highly suspect, like they put the specs for the wrong plane

I'm kinda wary about the stats on that last site. it gives a wingspan that converts to 35 feet, and the powerplant as 2 Jumo 004's. That set the scale me the model at 1:57, which just doesn't look right. Just eyeballing it, I think the wingspan is more in the 18 to 20 foot range. I'll probably do the prone pilot version as well.

Doesn't look like there's much difference structurally between the EC-47 and an AC-47, other than a few million antennas. (No guns of course)

Aaron my friend, just a gentle suggestion, very respectfully made.

It being that the dimensions of the L. P.13 are known, and a (1-48 scale) download of that is available, would it not be simple enough to employ the dimensions of the P.13 wing for the P.12, since the P.13 was an evolved P.12 in any case?
The wing structure itself was, so far as I can discern, substantially the same in both cases.
This would simplify your planning to a certain extent, I'd hope.

The P.13 had the same (or close enough to it) length and span as the P.12; it was the contours that changed, not the dimensions, as it were. Certainly the trailing edge quadrupal exhaust flaps are (in two drawings) depicted as being the same system.

Just a humbly offered thought, and a respectful suggestion.

Kind and Respectful Regards Aaron my friend, Uyraell.

I've already got the model mostly done. I just need to determine the scale.

I've been checking out the P.12/P.13 and agree with Uyraell, dimensions look very similar, just extrapolate from there.
