I kinda did a mishmash of all the markings from several pictures. It's more a representation of the X-1E throughout it's career in one model. Plus, I liked the black stripes on the wings.


At least I didn't do it as it is now:

My thoughts exactly. Hopefully they decide to replace it with something else, and it gets sent to a museum to be restored. I wanted a happy medium between too many markings and not enough.

New model alert. Should have her finished this week. I'm one the road all this month so it's hard to get good photos. I'm using sheets printed from the local copy shop so it's hard and expensive to make small changes.

Umm...A British Airways 1970s L-1011 Tristar 500, and another in the 1980s Landor livery, and one last one in RAF or Pan Am. If I go for ATR42 vectorizing, I will do two in BA, and one in KLM UK. These are only plans, so I might not manage to do all.
