Aaron:

Thought you could use this. NACA 330 was an ERF-61C (AKA a P-61C) with the cowling scoops and dive brakes. May have been other differences between the C and the A/B. "NACA 330" was almost certainly on the top starboard wing as well as the port lower wing. But you were right about the transonic drop bodies!

I'm in when it's ready!

Indeed, one of my favorite aircraft. I have a 1/48 P-61 plastic kit and F-15 Reporter vac/resin conversion to do before the end of the century....

Did we ever solve the silver metallic paper supply problem?

I'm attempting to do this plane...
Upcoming models-republicseabee01.jpg
...and there's no way on any planet I'm going to be able to do that in Photoshop.
I am also planning on these versions for "Potential military users"

Republic tried to sell it to the US Army Air Force as the YOA-15.

A Seabee was also sold to the Israeli Air Force

According to Fahey's U.S. Army Aircraft 1908-1946, the Army ordered the YOA-15, but the order was cancelled and no aircraft were procured, so the Seabee in U.S. Army markings would be imaginary (but interesting, especially if configured for air-to-air).

The one in the above picture is totally imaginary, but still a cool what if. According to Republic RC-3 Seabee Amphibian, the prototype YOA-15 had just a standard Seabee paint job (Bare metal with serial number only, I'm guessing). After the Army said "Meh", Republic used it as a demonstrator, then eventually sold it to a civilian. As of 2006, it was in Florida, in a snazzy blue paint scheme Republic RC-3 Seabee # 674 ( N6429K )

I'm gonna dial back the panel lines when I get it into Photoshop.

And every girl needs nice accessories:

the Molotow Liquid Chrome markers would be a nice substitute. they leave an almost brushed look on paper and would leave a semi mirror finish if printed on glossy photo paper.

Red River Silver paper would work for the SeaBee, as long as the graphics are black only. It can't show white areas.

Red River stopped making their silver paper years ago. It's probably worth it's weight in gold by now.
