I'm using a satin finish silver paper for the USS Macon, now under construction. Looks great so far.

Put me down for one each of any classic airliner in a US airline livery.

I haven't found a picture yet, but I'm reliably informed that a couple were also modded with folding wingtip floats (Catalina style). I wonder if any had hydraulic or electrically retractable undercarriage? Musta been a pain winding it up or down in flight solo.

OK Ringmaster ... The scenario is ... take off on water ... land on tarmac. OK so the hull is strong enough to land wheels up on grass, but you wouldn't want to do it too often. Tarmac or concrete ... someone's gotta wind them wheels down. If retractable floats are a plausible mod, surely motorization of the landing gear would be, and desirable? Someone must've done it.
