Similar, but with the more usual markings.

The good ole Lear 25. I've spent more time than I care to think about flying those around. As well as Lear 24's and 35's.

So, did you know that NASA has a 757-200?

I didn't. I also discovered that the current iteration of Air Force 2 is a C-32, military version of the 757.

It and Air Force One are in town tonight. I should be able to get a good up close view of Air Force One when I go to work in the morning (I don't care who's on it, I'm there for the plane).

I'm working from 20+-year-old memories here, but I think they used to call the 757 (an ex-Eastern aircraft) "Panama Red," because a significant stash of cocaine was found when they were refitting the a/c for NASA service.

Finally got to fuel a 757 today. Mostly it's been A319's and A321's. 757's are a tall plane. We use a 7 foot tall ladder to get up to the fuel connector. I'm 6 foot tall. On the Airbuses, I have to duck my head to not bump on the bottom of the wing. On a 757, I had to add a 2 foot platform at the top, and still reach up over my head to connect the hose.

Long legs and thin waist. Got to love them.
