I am sorry for your lost... Life will go on. I can tell you from my own experience with the lost of a family member that he will be more present in your life from now on more than ever; everything he ever taught you will become more evident, remember his teachings.

Aaron, I am really sorry to hear of your dads passing.
Mine has been gone almost ten years now, and I still envision his words of wisdom and what he taught me. It does not get easier, but your memories keep him with you. Condolences my friend.

Sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. "Memento Mori" as my Franciscan teachers use to say.

My condolences, too, Aaron. It's not just that things get easier for you as time passes, but you'll find reminders of your father popping up frequently. My own Dad made this same transition in 2018 but at least each month I see something that sparks the immediate thought, "Dad would appreciate that." So it's a nice thought that he can appreciate such things through me -- and perhaps that's a way to keep relatives alive in our memories.
