I know a few guys who might get excited by this:
Finally got it on paper. Now to do the alpha build and see if it's buildable. There are some fiddly bits around the intakes. I found these: 2 different NASA Versions A question for the Vark guys: How exactly did the swing wings work? When I did test swings in Rhino, the aft fuselage got in the way. But when I studied pictures, the fuselage looks exactly like how I designed it: Yet pictures with the wings swept show them tucked into the fuselage: Is there a hatch, panel, door or something else that gets pushed out of the way when the wings sweep all the way back? From what I recall seeing, there was almost like brush bristles in the path of travel that got pushed out of the way. I'm digging through my hard drives now for picks that I took for someone years ago.

The overwing fairing had bleed air inflatable bladders encased in fabric to seal the openings when the wings swept aft.
If I am understanding your question correctly. ('Vark crew chief '89-92) Also, the FB-111/F-111G had a longer wingspan than the -D,-E,-F and EF versions.

There are a lot of differences between the AFTI, TACT Varks and the active force aircraft.
More than just a paint job....
