I'm glad to hear that your test is negative Murph. And while having time off from work is nice, having a job and a paycheck coming in is nicer. I appreciate the work you've been doing while at home. And thanks for being involved in making supplies for the healthcare workers.

We make load cells, pressure sensors and torque tranducers. Basically, if it measures something, we build it. For instance, when you get an IV, the machine has a sensor to measure the flow of fluid and alert when pressure falls outside of certain parameters. We make the sensor. The fun part is we also make sensors used in the oil industry to measure underground oil pressure so the donkey pumps know when to turn on and pump. And every time NASA and SpaceX test fire a rocket engine, our sensors tell them how much thrust it generated (those sensors are huuuuuge, up to 28 inches across and weighing up to 800lbs).

Great news, Murph. Glad you are test negative. Be careful out there.
I thought I had found the ultimate answer for promoting social distancing. That is "Deer-Be-Gone", a repellent spray that gardeners use to keep deer from eating the shrubbery. It is made from rotten eggs and hot chili peppers, it reeks, and doesn't come off if it rains. A little of that spray and I will be totally repellent, I was thinking. But I just read that one of the common symptoms of COVID19 is total loss of the sense of smell. So it wont repel the people I most want to stay at least 6 feet from after all. My wife is enormously relieved. Actually, no joke. Stay safe everybody and practice the home isolation and social distancing thing as much as you can. Cheers,

Great you're not infected!!! But terribly sad to hear you all have to go to work again. I truly hope you and your co-workers will be able to stay safe at work. Is the government providing you with protective masks?

Glad to hear the news, healthy, with work to do, so we are happy to wait for the inspiration for your next models. But first things first!

Quick question for the NASA fans (And Les):
THe F4D Skyray has come up for refresh, and while searching for a few schemes for it, I've come across references to this aircraft: My question is, is this a real aircraft used by NASA / NACA? I know about the F5D, but there are significant differences between the two that I need to make changes to the actual model (8 foot stretch, area rule at wingroots, shorter landing gear, different tail, etc.) |

That looks like an F5D to me, but lemme check my pics. Hold in the pattern.
