Judging by picture it's tan and black. That combination was popular back in the day.
On other hand I'm thinking De Havilland had factory colors and they were Blue and Silver dope.It was Navy Blue shade, almost black. I'm leaning toward first option. |

Yukon John and other Canadian Friends might be interested in this 1931 Ontario Provincial Air Service color scheme.
Source: https://www.bushplane.com/bushplanes...nes-giantmoth/ See also: https://www.bushplane.com/index.php?...ies-opas-dh61/ "The Giant Moth was tried out as a forest pest dusting airplane but the large wingspan and high undercarriage made it too difficult to manoeuver at the necessary low flying levels. Problems with the Bristol Jupiter engine led to its replacement with a 500 H.P. geared Pratt and Whitney Hornet." Don |

Ha! If it was that easy.
I send numerous emails to many German institutions including MBB and Junkers museum asking for directions to source of basic Junkers W34 plans. Not a single response. In case of De Havilland I'm thinking Tiger Moth Associacion can be source of good ,reliable info.Giant Moth shouldn't be an enigma to them.In a way it was grandfather of Tiger Moth. While perusing the internet, I found a picture of a model of the Giant Moth that had been displayed at a Moth Meet back in 2012. Unfortunately it was low res and tiny, and I can't find it anymore. But it definitely looked blue. So I'm going with a royal blue-ish. I liked how it looked. Plus it'll add variety with the red QANTAS version, and the yellow Canadian version.

I found an actual picture of that plane (b&w of course) but it is definitely a solid dark color that could be interpreted as blue. I'll have to add the pic after work. It's one of those "only allowed to find it once on Google" images.

----------------------------- I'm going to attempt to justify what I'm about to do. I've been trying to decide on what color to make the trainer version if the Dehavilland DH.93 Don. I've settled on this version, which is in B&W. Today I stumbled on this picture: A dehavilland DH.94 Moth Minor, also a trainer aircraft built in the same factory as the DH.93 Don at around the same time. So the trainer version will be yellow. I also found this online. Which is a 1940s era collectible that was included in packs of cigarettes. Which makes version number 3. |

I've been finding rumors on the internet that the Russians were moving the Lun class Ekranoplan, aka the "Caspian Sea Monster" to a new location. Somehow it's ended up washed ashore and partially sunk.
