Thanks! That will come In handy.
------------------ So today I went to do some work on my website, and got the banner saying it had expired. I checked into it... And got taken to a page stating that Webs.com had sold out to Vistaprint, and was no longer supporting new or existing websites. And on March 22, will be shutting down. I checked out Vistaprint, and they did transfer my account information over to them. Just not the website. So I have to find out if Vistaprint will be a good provider, and if building a website with them will be as easy for a technophobe like me as Webs was. I've checked out a few other providers (Wix), and don't like the lack of control of the website layout they offer. I like the ability Webs offered to be ably to group models. Most others don't have that. So I'm not going under...yet. Just having issues. |

Good news is that Vistaprint is actually easier than Webs was. I just have to build 150+ webpages.

Has anybody heard anything about this years International Paper Modelers Convention? Is it gonna happen? I need to start making plans if it is.

I was working on the new Beechcraft Starship page and downloading new pictures for it, and decided to take a look at the model. Yikes Not only did I leave off half of the panel lines, but I left off half of the markings, and got the color of the ones I did put on wrong. So that one went on the refresh list. I found pictures of it in service, with "Image America" emblazoned along the sides of the fuselage, so I'm gonna add that. I'm also about halfway through the AG-600 Chinese seaplane. Gotta figure out a weird step in the bow, but most of the rear fuselage, tail and wings are done. Engines are awaiting better pictures.

I was watching a video about 5 of the US Navy's least known ships (though the PBR made the list.) The video mentioned this little guy:
Known as the "Booming Beaver", or officially as the "Beaver Class Security Tug" It is the US Navy's smallest vessel, used for tending sea gates around Naval seaports. Anybody know if there are any models available? |

I do not know of any model of that cute little tug. It reminds me of the mini-tugs used by the Army Corps of Engineers and its contractors to move dredging pipelines around during channel deepening operations at the Cold Spring inlet at Cape May about ten years ago. Unfortunately, I never captured any snapshots, but info must be available. The big dredge ship at that time was named Apalachicola (probably under contract, since I cant find a USACE dredge ship with that name).
Incidentally, your site seems to be up and running. I just bought and downloaded successfully the DC-2 bundle. Don |

Is the Luft '46 craze still a thing? I've got a folder of crazy German planes from the early 2010s.
