Murph, I have people whine and complain about the whole procedure of downloading my free KoolWheelz models.
They also complain about delays and wait times associated with the File hosting site.
Obviously I don't care too much because the models are free.

But I do make available the offer of a CD with all the models on it, delivered direct to your hands...no waiting, no downloading, no hassle.
I even put extra stuff on the CD.
but it doesn't matter...most would rather whine and complain and still download for free.

Having cheap, individual models on ecardmodels is just about the best way to sell some models.
but it really kills the idea of the compilation CD for most buyers.
because most buyers don't want all your models...just a few specific.

My opinion...forget the catered CD...just make up one or two CD Packages.
Put them on your site, put them on ebay, mention them here.
And leave it at that.

Maybe...
Put 25-30 models on one disc, mix 'em up into some sort of set...for $20
Do the same with another disc...don't worry about duplicating some models.
Might be an easier sell?

I hate to say it, but you will be lucky to sell one.
but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try.

Chris is right...you could ask everyone here, if they would buy a CD.
But this is a limited bunch who already have some of your models
...you need to target a wider audience and your website is a good place to do that.
Make sure your website is listed on your models.

That's the next thing I need to work on; getting a web site. I have no clue how to do that.

actually, a Facebook page can function quite well these days.
try creating a "page" for Oddball productions.
You can use it like a business webpage, with a product gallery and post new releases,
ordering info, prices, etc

then, just like any website, its up to you to promote your page.
Get the word out at forums and other places, to get people to visit.
And put you facebook "page" on your models.

Other than that, there are a few free website places out there.

i know that i have seen business's give out 800 mb flash drives with thier name on it for advertising, if you can find a company that does that you might find the manufacturer, and that would be incredibly inexpensive for a flash drive to put your stuff on.
