Weird. A P-51/P-38 combo. Looks like North American was stretching it a bit thin there.

The North American XB-28 is on my wish list...

North American XB-28 Dragon

If anyone has the book US Bombers - there is a good three-view drawing of it there.

It's 2 stretched P-51 fuselages as nacelles, with a central pod. I'm already halfway done designing it.

[QUOTE=murphyaa;463756]I'm still trying to figure out how to attach the wings. The only thing that carries through the propeller shroud are some spindly spars.
Attachment 232139

Which doesn't really work for the style of spar I usually do.

Although I think I just had my "AHA!!" moment with this one, so it goes back to the front of the pack.
Attachment 232140

Aaron, if you can, include formers for the fuselage pod. It will go a long way to enhancing the look of the model.

As for the spar, nothing wrong with asking someone to print a spar on regular paper and then laminate it to 0.5 or 1mm card (formers can be your friend...)

Actually, I came up with my own design:

The formers for the Prop shroud serve double duty as the wing spar.

Probably gonna be the most framed model I've done so far.
