All the recolors of Murph's Models that I have done as well as all the recolors from other designers and model owners, have been released through ecardmodels.com and you should be getting a payment on them, just as the others are....... if not let me know.

If you want me to stop doing recolors of your work and releasing them on ecardmodels just say so and I'll get them removed and not do any more........

I try and keep up with recolors on lots of sites.......... I haven't seen an announcement of a free recolor of your model, but I have seen one for a free ATR-42 that is a 2D flying model............ are you thinking of this as being your model?

There are legislative debates here about copyrights and secondary creation and parody. Repaints, in my opinion, are secondary creation and as such there will be grey areas when the matter touches on copyright.

If it were me, I would rather take a more realistic approach by doing more repaints myself. It's harmony that's important in this modelling community and I think that members of this forum will stick to gentleman's agreement in proceeding with secondary creation.

I don't believe that the Vought Ve-7 Bluebird has ever been suggested. It was the first plane to take off from a US carrier (Langley).

Just came across this, if you want to modify your Skymaster. It's called the Pelican.

Stearman XA-21

Just picked up the October 1941 issue of Model Airplane News that has a nicely done three-view with cross sections of the Stearman XA-21 prototype if you are interested in an addition to your X-planes section. Not really pretty, but certainly unique, especially the greenhouse nose version.

Keep up the great work.

Regards,
John
