Try a lego jig - very adaptable for this kind of thing.

Out of curiosity-how much convincing would it take to design C-89 Packet based on C-119 Boxcar?

I'm thinking of "Flight of The Phoenix" 1965 film. One of the more popular and widely known aviation films known.

Wings and booms are the same,so are engines (need to add air intakes on top of them),vertical stab is of same shape just much taller.Front of fuselage forward of leading edge needs to be new and rear undercarriage has single wheels.

Maybe you could remind Aaron that there is a C-82 at PIMA and there are some photos of NACA Packets for some repaint versions .

I'm not immune to bribes either. And stuck at home for the near future until I get the all clear to go back to work.

I'm not the schadenfreude guy but it's good for you as you have at least 14 days to clear up your backlog of bribed or un-bribed projects.

"schadenfreude" as everyone scrambles to google. Oh no, not us, tho' we know Aaron's health will improve even as his to-do list lightens. Speaking of which, I better get to that NASA Convair - it really is next on my list after the current distraction gets done.

Finished test build of Aaron's recolor of B-25 in RCAF colors.Original B-25 in this scheme is on display in The Air Force Heritage Museum and Air Park, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Very straight forward build. As usual everything fits and wing geometry is right on.It's a gull wing, not that easy to do but well designed spar makes it so much easier. There are many pictures of this plane on the net so you can add more details if you wish.
