The engines I used were off of the A12 Shrike (or something of that general design that Murph uses). All I did was put some wires in front of the cylinders for push rods or whatever. I also put a cover over the engine like you see on a Ford Trimotor. The propellers were something I came up with on my own.

I do all my repaints in Corel Draw and they are taken off the page so I would have to rearrange all that to make it fit Murph's layout system. If there is interest I could to that.

Mike

I didn't even think to do it in pre war colors. If you don't send it in, I might do my own.

Yes. I really like Murph's lil engine modules. Someone could easily do a nice access doors open diorama based on it.

Just finished Boulton Paul Defiant .

This one is a birthday present to me from my brother lurking somewhere here .He redid the skins a bit and completely redid colors to daylight fighter RAF scheme as original was painted with it.It looked just like that when delivered to 307 Sqr PAF and soon after undersides of it were painted black. Some shades were added, some oil stains and overall effect after printing on laser is just like a photograph of a real thing.Very cool effect.

Model itself is easy, hardest part is correct assembly of a turret.I skipped few steps there and did barrels out of .035 welding wire (I should have used thicker one).

This version will be send to Aaron, maybe he will post it for other customers enjoyment.

That's a great build of the Defiant. What scale is it?

Original scale is 1:31.I scaled it down to 3 pages,10.5 inch wingspan and that gives me about 1:45.

I spend few days home sick so since I hate idle hands 2 models got done.

DH Mosquito fighter will be gifted to a kid in my neighborhood so I omitted few small parts. As usual some of my own mistakes are visible but more I can't help myself wondering if this Mosquito has correct proportions.Looks a bit like a Mossie on McDonlad diet to me.Still,it fits well and engine gondolas aren't as hard to build correctly as I tough they will be.One day I'll turn it into maybe Swedish Mk.XIX.
Model of course is a bit smaller than original.
