And here is second build of this weekend: Dutch Brewster Buffalo.

Like P-36 I really like this kit.Builds very nice with no fuss, very much looks the part and it's strangely interesting like odd looking girl in the pub.Scaled down a bit and one mistake I did is of course undercarrige ( I know Aaron doesn't like them either for the same reason).I positioned it too far forward.Other than that it's bang on I think.I have 3 more of those to build-RAF,USAAF and US Navy versions. They will all get done (and maybe more, right Rata?).

Butelczynski I really like your Murph builds... Do you build them stock? Any modifications? Please build more and post pictures, I really enjoy seeing your builds.

I always scale them down to about 75%-60% of original.I usually build the stock,if I do any mods with part or colors I write it down.

Mosquito and this Buffalo didn't need anything although I'm very suspicious about Mosquitos colors.Code Letters EG Y are of wrong font and color but I noticed that after printing so "you snooze, you loose".When/if I do Mosquito recolor you will see what I mean.

I have been getting complaints about the Mosquito colors, but every time I checked my reference material, and tried changing the color in Photoshop, it looked the same. (Which doesn't say much, it could be too subtle a change for me to see.)

It;s a general reference of British camo during WWII. They just happen to use Spitfires as an example. Like the US one I have uses a couple different planes as examples.

When in doubt I look for pictures of a real thing. My problem with real EG Y is that by references it appears it use to be painted slightly differently at at least 2 occasions, however period photos show only one scheme nicely replicated on NZ owned example.

My version is actually based on the one at the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia. Mainly because a friend of Facebook goes there regularly and could get pictures. And we fall back to the old excuse of me being colorblind. If a color looks white, I'm making it white.

Lufthansa DC-2.A bit of a recolor since original D-ARPF markings Aaron used and black panels on center part of wing belong on DC-3,not DC-2.

Original DC-2 plane stared out as Czech OK-AIB ,it flew with Czechoslovak airline until mid 1939 when it stated service with Lufthansa as D-AAIB.It was one of 3 DC-2s taken over by Germany after take over.It flew with lufthansa until March of 1941 when it was sold to Aero Oy Finnish airline and it flew with them for a while as OH-DLA.Some time later Ilmavoimat took it over and flew it as DO-2 until spares run out.

Problem free model, this time printed on recycled printer I pulled out from scrap heap.It had B&W cartridge working but color capability is gone so I printed it in grayscale hence grey windows.Fin flash was printed in laser along with Dutch Buffalo.I wonder who recognizes those crosses on tail fin.Model of course comes with standard swastika as well.

I'm thinking of doing OK-AIB,OH-LDA and DO-2 as well as LOT version.I did a generic aluminium version so it can be re-marked into many other liveries. Both versions have been send to Aaron so I hope you can enjoy them too.

Douglas DC 2

That's a great build, and the double cross looks familiar. Chaplin's Dictator ?
