Just when I thought the 747 was gonna be the biggest plane I'll ever see, this decided to drop by...

Edit: it's Australian, so the image orientation seems appropriate.

I have yet to see A380 but I'm told they fly pretty often from YYZ.

The odd plane I have seen today was AN-2 biplane in some dark colors flying along lake Ontario towards Island Airport. When you see one you can easily spot it from a distance.I don't think there was ever any plane designed even remotely similar to AN-2.

I dunno if the C-17 is bigger than I thought it was, or if the KC-135 is smaller than I thought it was...

Hee hee... Back in the day I always thought the C-130 Hercybirds were big. When I made up Bruno's 1:300 C-15 Galaxy, I thought he'd got his scales mixed up somewhat, but then I found this picture on Google ...

We used to get a couple of Hercybirds flying over us here several times a week, but it would appear that they are being phased out by a Galaxy. That only comes over once a month, but at low level, we know all about it's passing. It helps to dry the washing I guess. Still see the Herkybirds occasionally though, and the pilots still wave. Yep, they are low enough for us to see them wave.

The job dictates the size of the plane.
